Siemens Energy is seeking a Quality control technician to join the team at its Trento facility. The technician will be responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspections on transformer components and materials, using appropriate measuring instruments and technical drawings.
Key duties include recording inspection results, managing non-conformities, and coordinating with internal departments and external suppliers for resolution. The role involves collaboration with supply chain, engineering, and production functions to ensure the quality of incoming materials and finished products.
The Quality control technician will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing preventive actions and supporting the development of quality control procedures. The position requires availability for business travel, accounting for approximately 30% of total working time.

Candidate profile & requirements:

• Diploma or degree in a technical discipline (mechanical or electrical)
• basic knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical measurements
• ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• prior experience in quality control or production is considered an advantage
• good command of written and spoken English
