Innoitaly is looking for two application engineers for the new office located in Rovereto (Trento). As the Application Engineer, the candidate will be part of a team. It will follow various phases of product development, such as Architecture definition, Specification definition, Test plan implementation, and electrical characterization/validation of our devices. He/she will contribute to the definition of new products by leveraging knowledge of new applications as the main factor for innovation. The candidate will have continuous interaction with customers through meetings/calls and on-site support and will also prepare the required documents (such as Application Notes and evaluation board) to facilitate product design and promotion at our customers.

Job Requirements

• Master‘s level degree in Electronic Engineering or PhD
• English fluency and strong technical knowledge in analog and digital electronics
• The ideal candidate is a team player who works well in collaborative situations and challenging environments
• The candidate has a strong problem-solving approach, results orientation, a sense of urgency, and proactivity skills
• Previous experience will be considered an added value
• Since most of the jobs will be conducted on the bench, good laboratory skills and/or attitude are required to work in a laboratory environment
• In addition, he/she shall know industry-standard software for PCB design and simulation (Cadence, Orcad, Altium, etc.) and software tools to aid the automatic characterization/validation process (Labview, Matlab, etc.)
• A methodic approach into the execution of the required tests is needed as well as knowledge sharing with our stakeholders/Technical Community
